AM / PM Service started in 1987 as a service company with a focus in servicing cash registers in support of local grocers and restauranteurs in Western Canada. Providing both on-site and live support has led to our strong reputation of dependability, reliability and trust with our customers. For over 30 years, AM/PM continues to maintain these same values which has led to our growth of now being considered as one of North America’s largest privately held POS solutions companies. For the past 30 years, AM/PM Service has grown to become one of North America’s largest privately held POS solutions companies. Each year we continue to expand by offering our customers innovative and value-added Point-of-Sale solutions.

1987

AM/PM is founded just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia with a focus on Point-of-Sale repairs and servicing.

1989

AM/PM Service expands into the Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan provinces in Canada through the acquisition of Gold Medal Equipment.

2001

AM/PM expands into the province of Quebec through acquiring ServiceLoc and Omega Cash in Montreal.

2004

Sister company, AM/PM Mobile Solutions, is founded with a specific focus on mobility solutions.

Today AM/PM Mobile Solutions continues to provide innovative mobility solutions and now supports the unique needs of Canadian Healthcare

2007

AM/PM Service expands into the USA and opens a branch in Houston, Texas.

2008

AM/PM continues to expand into the USA by opening a branch in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

U-POS software is developed and launched by AM/PM Service to meet the demands of the hospitality industry.

2009

AM/PM Service further expands into the USA, specifically in Washington State, and opens an office in Seattle.

2011

STOREDYNAMICS software is developed, tested and launched by AM/PM Service to meet the needs of the retail industry.

2014

AM/PM Service is the first dealer to install NCR Self-Checkout solutions in Canada.

To keep up with customer demand, AM/PM Service opens new offices in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Calgary, Alberta.

2016

AM/PM Service wins the contract to supply and install the largest dealer order, at the time, of NCR self-checkout lanes in North America.

2017

AM/PM Service wins the contract to supply and install the largest dealer order, at the time, of NCR terminal’s in North America

2018

AM/PM offers integration with Mighty Oaks to support the growing need for eCommerce capabilities.

STOREDYNAMICS cloud-based software version is launched by AM/PM Service for the retail and hospitality industries.

Construction of the new head office building in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia is completed.

2020 - Present

A new branch is opened in Brooklyn, New York, to better service customers on the East Coast.

AM/PM Service launches PCI certified AM/PM Guardian, a remote access and management tool designed to provide security against data loss, hacking and viruses.

AM/PM Service expands and opens a new branch in California through the acquisition of Bridge SMS Retail Solutions.

Milestone of over 200 employees’ company-wide is celebrated.
